Description

For many years, the Government of Benin has been implementing an ambitious reform aiming at promoting Results-Based Management in the Public Sector. To support its efforts, the Government of Benin has decided to conduct a comprehensive Capacity Building Programme to strengthen all concerned ministries.

In this context, the IDEA International Institute organises technical training workshops, professional internships, high level certification training in order to equip and enhance the technical and personal skills of civil service officers and managers of the different concerned ministries. These activities cover all the knowledge areas of Results-Based management, notably:

1. RBM concepts and methodologies
2. Strategic and operational planning of programmes
3. Budgeting of MDGs and PRS
4. Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) and Sectoral Medium Term Expenditure (SMTEF)
5. Control and audit in the context of RBM
6. Project planning and management
7. MS-Project for activity based planning and monitoring
8. Procurement;
9. Monitoring and Evaluation of Public Project and Programmes.
