IDEA : Training
Faced with major challenges resulting from the introduction of Results-Based Management (RBM) and the need to improve governance, the public sector must provide executive training to its officials and professionals to put them in a position to face those challenges and implement sound and efficient management practices for concrete results.
The Institute offers executive training activities to strengthen the skills, abilities and knowledge of high and mid-level civil servants in all areas related to governance, RBM, and public program and project management.
Those activities are offered in English, French or Spanish in our regional centers to increase accessibility. Training takes place in a dynamic and result oriented environment, using a combination of formal presentations, discussion groups, case studies, and situational analysis. The originality of the Institute's approach rests in its practical orientation, so that participants can implement new tools or approaches right upon their return and thus contribute quickly to the success of their organization.
