The City of Knowledge in Panama City is an international complex for education, research, and innovation which is rapidly becoming a regional hub for Latin America. It has been developed to promote and facilitate synergies between universities and higher education institutions, scientific research centers, high tech firms, and international organizations.

Since 2007, IDEA International has the distinction to be a partner of the City of Knowledge, where it has established its operations for the Latin America and Caribbean region.

EMISPEC EMISPEC is a Canadian firm located in Quebec City and Paris and specialized in the integration of technological solutions for the production of energy from biomass based on needs and geographic and technical characteristics of the milieu. The Institute and EMISPEC have established a partnership to propose the implementation of Local Development Projects — Economics — Energy — Environment (LDP–3E) which enable the collection of biomass products in rural areas, energy production by small simple, robust, and efficient production units, and the interconnection with the electric network.

In 2009, the "École Nationale des Régies Financières – ENAREF" and the IDEA International Institute signed a partnership agreement to provide capacity building services in the areas of economy and public sector management.

The Public-Private partnership aims at the implementation of a Masters Certificate Program in Public Procurement Management.

The "École Nationale Supérieure de Statistique et d’Économie Appliquée – ENSEA", created in 1991, is a public academic institution based in Abijdan – Côte d’Ivoire. It is well-known for its services in training statisticians for the French-speaking community.

In 2010, ENSEA and IDEA International signed a partnership agreement to develop and offer a Masters Certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation and Information Systems.

The International Development Evaluation Association — IDEAS is a global network of development practitioners and evaluators committed to capacity building, networking, applying innovative methodological approaches, and sharing knowledge, especially in developing countries and countries in transition.

INNOVIMAGE is a Canadian firm established in 2000 in Quebec City to offer document imaging and management software solutions. These technologies enable the archiving and management of great quantities of documents and facilitate their processing, research and access.

In 2006, the Tanzania Public Service College and the IDEA International Institute signed a Memorandum of Understanding to pursue a common objective of strengthening the capacity of the public service in Tanzania. This public-private partnership provides complementary expertise in training and consultancy services.

Founded in 1663 in Quebec City, University Laval was among the first universities established in North America where its reputation is well-known. The Continuing Education Department ("Direction Générale de la formation continue") of University Laval is recognised for the quality of its executive training programs.

Since 2006, the IDEA International Institute and the Continuing Education Department have initiated a more and more dynamic partnership which resulted in the development of Masters Certificates in areas related to Result-Based Management.
